Why should I order from Decatur Screenprint?
Well, this is an easy one to start off with. We are local and have
our interests in the local Decatur community. We live here and we
work here. We support local businesses and the money you spend with
us stays in this community. We are fair to our employees and fair to
you. Our pricing is very reasonable and quite competitive with
anyone else you’ll find in the Atlanta area. We have a lot of pride
in the work we do. We make things easy and guide you through every
step of the process. We want you to be happy and we want you
to rave about your experiences with us. Plus we’re nice people to
work with!
Do you charge setup fees?
Nope, none.
Do you actually print the shirts?
Yes, every one of them. You order directly from us and our
team is responsible for your order from start to finish. We don't outsource any printing!
We have a fully-equipped print shop in Decatur where all of your
items will be made by a person. We don't recommend buying
shirts from anyone who doesn't print them themselves...it is the only
way to guarantee quality.
What is your minimum order?
24 total pieces per design. You can mix and match items to get up to
the 24 piece threshold. We do offer quantity breaks for ordering
quantities larger than 48 total pieces. We love to give to deals to
make it easier on your wallet. Just ask.
What is your turnaround time?
Your order will typically be completed within 4-6 business days. If
you need it sooner we can often accommodate.
What shirt styles and brands do you offer?
We have a huge catalog of items to choose from. We can get you
anything from the basic t-shirt to the hot, ultra-soft, fitted
fashion tees (like you find at Urban Outfitters or other
establishments) and we also carry recycled and organic apparel. We
can get pretty much get whatever you want – just ask.
I’ve got a load of shirts laying about, can you print on
those?
Sure. We can certainly use your garments to print on. We’ll reduce
the cost of printing by the cost of shirt and make use of your
garments to complete your order. Nothing is more environmentally
friendly than using what already exists!
I need my shirts within 3 days. Can you help?
Rush jobs are accepted if time allows. Please contact us if you need
your order completed within 24-72 hours.
What colors do I choose from?
We print using colors in the Wilflex ink catalog. Here are the
colors your can choose from:

Can I use PMS / Pantone Colors?
We do not have the ability to match PMS/Pantone colors with textile
inks. We can try to find a color that will meet your needs.
What file type should my artwork be in?
Artwork quality can affect how awesome your shirt will print.
Obviously the better quality the artwork the better the print will
be.
Ideally, we would love to work with a scalable vector file like .AI
or .EPS. We are an Adobe shop so please provide artwork to us in
Adobe-friendly file types (PDF, JPG, EPS, AI, PSD, etc.).
High resolution JPGs (300+ dpi) are also accepted. Please review our artwork information for more on how to
provide us your awesome artwork. You can always e-mail us at

artwork questions you have.
If you need custom design we do have a graphic designer who can
help.
Proofs/Artwork Acceptance
Once we are ready to print your order we will provide you one last
look at a digital proof to make sure we have everything right. Once
we get this proof back with your approval we will start production.
Please make sure you review your digital proof carefully. Mistakes
are not cool for anyone.
I’d like to get some shirts printed but I don’t have a
design yet. Can you help?
Yes! We have a very skilled and experienced graphic designer on
staff who can assist with creating an original design for you. Her
rates are quite reasonable and she is pretty fantastic.
What is needed to get an order started?
An order form will be filled out and we’ll contact you to make sure
we both know everything we need to know. We’ll draw up a quote and
once we get the artwork from you we can begin production. For large/first-time orders we may require a deposit from you to hold your
place in the production schedule.
What does Mix and Match Colors/Sizes mean?
Well, within reason we can basically interchange the sizes and
colors within your order. You can print maybe 12 white and 12 gray
shirts and it won’t cost any more. Or you can print small for
everyone except 1 person who needs an XL. Once the artwork is press
ready, throwing a different size or color shirt on the press is not
usually a problem. If it is, we can talk to you about it and work it
out.
One thing to remember – if you mix and match small and 2XLs or
greater – the artwork on the 2XL will be teeny tiny compared to that
printed on the small. Bigger shirts = more printing area = smaller
design.
What payment options do you offer?
We are pretty hip to the cash and credit card forms of commerce. We
accept greenbacks as well as all forms of major credit card.
Tell me about your free delivery offer.
Well, we make it even easier to order from us by coming to you to
deliver your printed items within the area. Basically if you don’t
live/work that far from Decatur we will come to you for free. If you
are located super far away we might meet you half way or you might
have to trudge into Decatur to pick up your order. We try hard
to accommodate. Delivery makes it far cheaper to order from us than
some of the other guys. Plus we are saving up our money to buy a
cool hybrid soon so we can deliver soon using a whisper-quiet
vehicle.
If you live really far away then we can ship your order for an
additional charge via UPS.
