Minimums

Apparel Printing:  24 items PER design. If you have multiple placements, ex) sleeve or pocket, there must be at least 24 items getting that location. We are happy to run orders less than the minimum, however there will be a $25 set up fee per color, per location.

Buttons:

                1” buttons – minimum is 25

                1.25” buttons –  minimum is 25

                2.25” buttons – minimum is 20

                3.5” buttons- minimum is 10


Turn-around Time

4-6 business days AFTER art approval unless special services are required (see SPECIAL SERVICES). We will send a digital proof via email. We will not print a job without written approval.  Once the artwork is approved you will be given a pick-up date. If you need your order before the pick-up date there will be a rush fee applied (see RUSH ORDERS).


Payment Terms

50% deposit is due upfront for screen printing. The remainder is due at time of pick-up.

100% is due upfront for all button orders.

Embroidery payment will be determined while placing the order.

Heat press payment is due at time of pick up.

We accept all major credit cards, checks and cash. Call or mail in payment.


Rush Orders

Orders needed sooner than the standard turn around time are subject to a rush fee. Turn around time begins upon final art approval and once deposit is paid.  See below for the rush fee percentage breakdown.

3 Days- 20%

2 Days- 35%

Next Day- 50%


All artwork created by Decatur Screenprint & Embroidery is owned by Decatur Screenprint & Embroidery. You can purchase rights to the artwork in addition to any art fees. Any artwork you provide us is your property and we will not reproduce your artwork without consent.

For the screen printing process, we need a fully vectored Adobe Illustrator file. If you do not have an AI file, send a high resolution *.JPG file. An art fee may incur (see DESIGN FEE).

Decatur Screenprint owns all files we have converted into print ready format. You may purchase print ready files if needed. You still retain ownership of your original design file. We store all files that we have converted, no art fees will be applied if you reorder previous designs.

Artwork must be emailed (WE DON'T ACCEPT CUSTOMER SUPPLIED USB FLASH DRIVES).

Artwork


After receiving your first digital proof, we will offer ONE set of revisions free of charge. Any additional revisions will be billed based on design. ALL ARTWORK MUST BE APPROVED VIA EMAIL. We do not accept verbal approval. You will be given a pick-up time once the artwork is approved. Any changes made after art approval may push back turn around time and/or incur additional fees. After artwork approval, we are no longer responsible for any errors/ misspellings in approved digital proof.

Art Approval


We do not keep inventory in house. All shirts are ordered on a per job basis. Sometimes our distributors may be out of certain items or items come from distant warehouses. Stock levels may affect turn around time. If this is the case we will tell you immediately and help find a comparable replacement.

Out of Stock Items


Decatur Screenprint is not responsible for any manufacturer defects such as color inconsistency, loose seams, holes in garment or any other defects. We try to catch any and all defective items before we print but some slip through the cracks. In order to avoid any defective shirts, we recommend ordering 5% more in each size.

Decatur Screenprint is not responsible if you are not happy with the garment you have chosen. We will do our best to help you chose the garment that best suits your needs. You can make an appointment to come see our select samples or we can order any additional samples if paid in advance. ***
